Revitalisation Works
While the original closure was planned for late October 2024, we can now confirm the centre will remain open until Friday 10 January 2025. Pelican Park Recreation Centre will be closed from Saturday 11 January 2025 for approximately 6 months. The gym will be closed as of Monday 6 January 2025 to relocate gym equipment.
Our 30-day cancellation period will not apply from 1 December 2024 until the reopening in 2025. All requests submitted must be received at least 24 hours prior to any scheduled payment (Mon - Fri only).
Please note any applications received after 12pm Friday will not be actioned until the following Monday.

Have you considered suspending your membership instead? All direct debit members can suspend their membership via their Activeworld Membership Management App.
- Minimum suspension period is 2 weeks up to a maximum of 6 week blocks at a time
- There are no maximum number of suspensions
- Requests to suspend must be submitted at least 3 days prior to the suspension start date
- Suspensions incur a weekly cost of $5.00
- Memberships cannot be cancelled while on suspension or suspended pending cancellation

Suspension extension requests can be made in writing to pelicanpark@belgravialeisure.com.au with your suspension reason and period required. The following reasons will be considered with supporting documentation.

Please note there is a 30 day notification period for cancellations and a joining fee will be applicable to new and returning members. $50 for memberships and $20 for GOswim lessons.
